Bell was named one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World by Time magazine in 2011 and a New York Times bestselling author. Bell is currently a featured speaker/tour “trailblazer” on “Oprah's The Life You Want Weekend,” Oprah Winfrey's eight-city arena tour that is currently traveling through the U.S. The tour has received wide critical acclaim from the media, including The Grio, which called it “Empowering. Enlightening. Magical.” The course, entitled “Rob Bell: Practical Guide to Finding Joy and Meaning in Everyday Life,” is available exclusively on Oprah.com and now open for pre-registration.

The Public Theater announced a four-week extension for the world premiere musical HAMILTON, with book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Inspired by the book 'Alexander Hamilton' by Ron Chernow and directed by Thomas Kail, HAMILTON begins performances on Tuesday, January 20 and was originally scheduled to close on Sunday, February 22. The musical will now run an additional four weeks to Sunday, March 22, with an official press opening on Tuesday, February 17.
