As part of an ongoing program to expand its online learning platform on Oprah.com, OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced today an all-new eCourse, taught by renowned pastor and author Rob Bell. Bell was named one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World by Time magazine in 2011 and a New York Times bestselling author. Bell is currently a featured speaker/tour “trailblazer” on “Oprah's The Life You Want Weekend,” Oprah Winfrey's eight-city arena tour that is currently traveling through the U.S. The tour has received wide critical acclaim from the media, including The Grio, which called it “Empowering. Enlightening. Magical.” The course, entitled “Rob Bell: Practical Guide to Finding Joy and Meaning in Everyday Life,” is available exclusively on Oprah.com and now open for pre-registration.

The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts announces its theater, music, dance, lectures and Theater for Young Audiences programming for the 2014-2015 Season, which begins today, October 7-19 with the Edinburgh-based Puppet State Theatre Company production of The Man Who Planted Trees in the Lovelace Studio Theater; and in the Bram Goldsmith Theater a new lecture series in partnership with Writers Bloc, presenting a conversation with Leon Panetta on October 15 and Marsalis Well Tempered: An Evening with Branford Marsalis featuring the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia on October 16.

The Public Theater announced a four-week extension for the world premiere musical HAMILTON, with book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Inspired by the book 'Alexander Hamilton' by Ron Chernow and directed by Thomas Kail, HAMILTON begins performances on Tuesday, January 20 and was originally scheduled to close on Sunday, February 22. The musical will now run an additional four weeks to Sunday, March 22, with an official press opening on Tuesday, February 17.

The bubble celebration continues at New World Stages, as the Off- Broadway hit, GAZILLION BUBBLE SHOW, celebrates a major milestone with its 3000th performance in New York City on October 11, 2014.
