The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company will present a one night only concert to benefit the company: Tony Award and Grammy Award-nominated composer and lyricist ANDREW LIPPA will be joined by Christina DeCicco (Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark, Evita), Adam Kantor (The Last Five Years, Rent, Avenue Q), and Christiane Noll (Ragtime, Jekyll & Hyde) and in a unique one night only concert, We're Keen on Andrew Lippa.

Goodman Theatre announces a world-premiere event made possible by an unprecedented grant in the theater's 90-year history. The Roy Cockrum Foundation will entirely fund 2666, Artistic Director Robert Falls' large-scale stage adaptation of Chilean author Roberto Bolaño's internationally-celebrated final novel.

Twenty Chicago high school students will perform in the August Wilson Monologue Competition Finals tonight, March 10, 2015 at 6:00 pm at the Goodman Theatre, 170 N. Dearborn St. for a chance to represent Chicago in the National Competition in New York City. Esteemed judges for the Chicago finals will include Ron OJ Parson and August Wilson's daughter Sakina Ansari Wilson, as well as two judges yet to be announced.

Contra Costa Civic Theatre (CCCT) continues its 55th season with one of the most popular American comedies, The Foreigner, directed by Ken Sonkin in his CCCT debut, from April 3-26, 2015. Performances will be Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 2pm at the theatre.

FISH IN THE DARK, the new comedy written by and starring Larry David, is running for an 18-week limited engagement through Sunday, June 7 at the Cort Theatre. Opening night is tonight, March 5. The Sarah Siddons Society's Artistic Director, Dominic Missimi, announced plans to bestow on Jessie Mueller the organization's prestigious Actress of the Year Award. Ms. Mueller won a Tony award in 2014 for her performance as Carole King in BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL.
