Walnut Street Theatre concludes its landmark 203rd season with an all-new production of Broadway's BUDDY: THE Buddy Holly STORY. Directed and choreographed by Casey Hushion, the show opens tonight, May 23rd, and runs through July 15th on the WST Mainstage. Christopher Sutton (Buddy), says this is the first time in the history of the Walnut Street Theatre that the same actor has played the same role twice. On April 11, for the first time ever, BUDDY - THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY will play at America's longest running professional theater, the Alhambra Theatre & Dining, giving the Jacksonville market a chance to learn about and celebrate the life of the man who changed music forever. Starring in the performance is Tod Meredith, a ten-time veteran of The Buddy Story, who has portrayed Buddy Holly across the United States.

On Friday and Saturday nights Richard Lewis and Susie Essman performed at the Venetian Theatre. It was vintage Las Vegas ? very funny and very, very blue. They are a perfect combination. He is burdened by tons of psychological baggage and she carries nothing, just lets it all out. It was great fun and I hope they return very, very soon

Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story, plays Westchester Broadway Theatre through April 19, and tells the story of the three years in which he became the world's top recording artist. The show features over twenty of Buddy Holly's greatest hits.
