Known for her powerful and riveting vocals, Broadway's Darling N'Kenge (Motown: The Musical and Sondheim and Sondheim) will grace the stage in a Broadway Diva's collaboration with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of conductor, Jack Everly for four concerts. Performances at the Hilbert Circle Theatre will be Friday, October 2 at 11:00am (which is a truncated program for the Coffee Pops Series) and 8:00PM; Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 8:00pm and Sunday, Oct 4, 2015 the Broadway Divas concert will move to Honeywell Center in Wabash, IN for a 3:00PM show.

Most people in the Broadway community know about The Broadway Dreams Foundation, the country's premier performing arts education foundation. Beginning Monday, October 5th, Jennifer Diamond will assume the roles of Louise Lerman and Eve Allabout in RUTHLESS! The Musical at St. Luke's Theatre in the heart of the Theatre District. She's replacing Tracy Jai Edwards who is departing the show to appear in the new musical Gotta Dance, directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell.

MasterVoices kicks off the 2015-2016 season with The Pirates of Penzance; or, The Slave of Dutyon October 15-16, 2015 at 8pm at New York City Center, 131 W. 55th Street, New York City. Grammy and Oscar-winning composer Stephen Schwartz has captivated millions of theatre lovers with his iconic songs from Broadway musicals such as Wicked, Pippin, and The Baker's Wife. He will perform solos as well as duos and trios with friends, spanning the course of his magnificent 40-year career in Stephen Schwartz and Friends, at Queensborough's Performing Arts Theatre (QPAC) on September 27 at 3 pm.

According to Reuters, 'Queen of Soul' Aretha Franklin and acclaimed Irish tenor Anthony Kearns are slated for Pope Francis' visit to Philadelphia later this month. The two singers will appear on Saturday, September 26, at the World Meeting of Families festival, and before the Pope's Mass on Sunday, September 27, 2015.

The Pope sure can command a crowd. Before Pope Francis' Mass at Madison Square Garden next week, Broadway stars, pop singers and other celebrities will populate a two-hour pre-show featuring prayer and devotional music.

AMERICAN IDOL's Eric Anthony Lopez (currently in THE JACKIE MASON MUSICAL Off-Broadway) and Mary Michael Patterson (most recently in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA on Broadway) have teamed up to record Lopez's original song 'Angels Sing' as a tribute to those who have lost there lives in the September 11th attacks.

The Public Theater will kick off the 2015-16 season in September with a free Public Works musical adaptation of Homer's THE ODYSSEY, conceived and directed by Public Works Director Lear deBessonet, with music, lyrics and book by Todd Almond. WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin today announced details of the world premiere of Donald Fowler's musical CREEP. The musical will open WaterTower Theatre's 2015-2016 Season on Monday, October 5, 2015 (with previews on Friday, October 2, Saturday, October 3, and a Gala Preview performance on Sunday, October 4). Kate Galvin, Associate Producer at the 11th Hour Theatre Company in Philadelphia, will direct. CREEP is produced by Terry Martin.
