In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Josh Radnor, star of the hit CBS comedy HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER teased that the sitcom may be heading for a ninth and final season. In the show, Radnor portrays Ted Mosby, described as a 'hopelessly romantic, perpetually unlucky-in-love architect.'

CBS has pulled its summer entry '3' after just two airings. Various repeats will plug the show's Sunday, 9:00/8:00c slot going forward, including 'Hawaii Five-0' on August 5 and 'Criminal Minds' on August 12.
UNFORGETTABLE May Be Heading Back to CBS

TVGuide.com reports that the CBS network is currently in talks to bring back the drama series UNFORGETTABLE. The detective thriller was canceled in May despite holding its own in the ratings. If the series returns, it will have a 13-episode run which will air next summer.

CBS and Sony Pictures Television have closed a deal to renew RULES OF ENGAGEMENT for a seventh season. The 13-episode pickup - confirmed via a network spokesperson - will bring its series total to exactly 100 episodes.

CBS has reached agreements with David Letterman and Craig Ferguson for contract extensions to host their respective late night franchises - LATE SHOW and THE LATE LATE SHOW - through 2014, it was announced today by Nina Tassler, President, CBS Entertainment.
