Wigs, weaves and pop culture! Unicorn Theatre closes out the 36th season of BOLD NEW PLAYS with a funny and poignant 'blowout' of African-American sisterhood and identity. Zina Camblin's And Her Hair Went With Her came out of the National New Play Network (NNPN), having received productions at Phoenix Theatre, New Jersey Repertory Company and Fountain Theatre (all NNPN theatres) and was read at the Unicorn in 2008.

Using the voices of four female singers representing various stages of Nina's life and rich artistic legacy of the music icon. Songs include 'I Love You Porgy', 'The Look of Love' and 'I put a Spell on You', among others.
