THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, previously announced the lottery ticket policy for the National Tour, which begins today, September 3 at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts in Houston and plays a limited two week engagement through Sunday, September 15. In Houston, the production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the box office before each performance, making a limited number of tickets available at $25 apiece, cash only.

The producers of the national tour of the new musical THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, and Blumenthal Performing Arts announced today that single tickets will go on sale Friday, Sept. 6 at 10 a.m. in the Belk Theater box office (130 N. Tryon Street) and at NOON online (BlumenthalArts.org) or by calling 704.372.1000. An exclusive pre-sale for American Express Cardmembers will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 4 thru Friday, Sept. 6. There is a maximum limit of 6 tickets total per household.

Opening night is set for Thursday, September 12 at 7pm. Fetch Clay, Make Man is scheduled to run through Sunday, October 13; tickets are on sale now.

Billy Porter, 2013 Tony Award Winner for Best Actor in a Musical (Kinky Boots) surprised students of Broadway Artists Alliance Summer Intensive Session One with his appearance on July 25th. Porter entertained the students with tales of his experiences. In addition, he participated in a Q&A, answering student's questions and providing advice for young performers. Tony Award winner Gabriel Ebert visited students at Broadway Artists Alliance Alumni Session to share his journey from young actor to Tony Award Winner.
