Broadway Method Academy is hosting the second annual benefit concert 'Broadway Sings". Broadway Method Academy's Executive Director, Connor Deane says the evening will be filled with top-notch talent from both BMA and New York, including some of Broadway's top performers. Deane says, "The fundraiser's support will be dedicated to empowering students and igniting possibilities through scholarship opportunities and so much more. Your support helps attract the best and brightest talent, in turn, enriching our community and fueling the future of the arts!"

Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. After multiple sold out shows in NY, musical pop songwriter Joey Contreras takes on L.A. for his West Coast concert debut on February 10th. Billed as Joey Contreras and Friends, the Rockwell: Table and Stage concert will feature songs from his ?rst album, Love Me, Love Me Not as well as offer a sneak peak of his upcoming record, Young Kind of Love. Audiences of all ages will be able to relate to the stories and adventures of Joey's emotionally-driven and musically infectious tunes.

The Second National Tour of THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, broke the house record in its first week of performances at the Bank of America Theatre (18 West Monroe). The show grossed $1,493,961 for the week ending December 16. THE BOOK OF MORMON began performances on December 11, 2012, with performances now extended through September 8, 2013.

Broadway In Chicago and the producers of the new musical THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, announced today that tickets will be available for 14 additional weeks of performances of THE BOOK OF MORMON at the Bank of America Theatre (18 West Monroe). A new block of tickets for performances June 4 - September 8, 2013 will go on-sale to the public on Monday, January 7 at 10 a.m. Tickets are sold out through March 3, 2013, with some tickets still available March 5 - June 2, 2013.

Award-winning producers Randy Taradash, Paul Boskind and Martian Entertainment, and Gregory Rae announced complete casting today for the original musical BARE. The company will feature Taylor Trensch (Peter), Jason Hite (Jason) and Elizabeth Judd (Ivy), with Gerard Canonico (Matt), Jerold E. Solomon (Father Mike), Barrett Wilbert Weed (Nadia) and Missi Pyle (Sister Joan). They will be joined by Casey Garvin (Zack), Ariana Groover (Vanessa), Sara Kapner (Madison), Nick Laughlin (Swing), Alice Lee (Diane), Megan Lewis (Swing), Justin Gregory Lopez (Beto), Michael Tacconi (Nick) and Alex Wyse (Alan).

NEWSIES star Andrew Keenan-Bolger recently took the time to put together a music video for summer 2012, featuring some of his NEWSIES castmates and even some other Broadway veterans. Keenan-Bolger writes: 'I brought my camera along whenever I was hanging out with my friends this summer. I decided to compile the footage together in an unofficial video for my favorite song of the summer, '1904' by The Tallest Man On Earth.'
