THE SONGS OF LEO HURLEY & CHARLES OSBORNE At Feinstein's/54 Below this February

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, proudly celebrates the new works of composer Leo Hurley and lyricist Charles Osborne! A songwriting team that bridges the worlds of opera and musical theatre, Hurley & Osborne's collaborations combine myth and history to combat contemporary issues.

"The Songs of Leo Hurley & Charles Osborne" concert will feature selections from The Body Politic, about trans/Muslim discrimination in NC (NYMF 2017, Boston Center for the Arts, NC State Legislature); Paris Through the Window, a fable about artists in the City of Light during WWI (Abingdon Theatre, York Theatre); Taking Wing, a fantasy musical about anti-bullying and true friendship (NYNW Theatre Festival 2017); as well as world premieres of We Are Myth, exploring modern teen issues through Greek myths, and Brooklyn Bridge, the true story of the woman who helped build it, amid the turmoil of post-Civil War America.

Directed and produced by Julie Saltman, head of Saltystarness Productions LLC, "The Songs of Leo Hurley & Charles Osborne" promises to be a terrific night of musical surprises. From fantastical family fare to Broadway-bound sensational flair, featured performances will include Broadway's Isaac Powell (Once on This Island), Natalie Charlé Ellis (School of Rock, Les Mis), Sydney Shepherd (First Date, The Musical), Chris Newcomer (Chicago, The Visit), Tori Feinstein (Matilda), Nick Laughlin (Book of Mormon), and more (please visit 54Below.com for full list of 33 performers).

Not to be missed! "The Songs of Leo Hurley & Charles Osborne" plays Feinstein's/54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on Thursday, February 8th @ 9:30pm. There is a $25-$60 cover charge and $25 food and beverage minimum. Tickets and information are available at www.54Below.com. Hurley & Osborne are the musical theatre songwriting team of tomorrow. Featured in the Boston Globe, the Associated Press, the UK's Daily Mail, and more, they have been listed as a Top Ten to Watch (Playbill, TimeOut NY) and made international headlines when their work helped bring down anti-LGBT legislation in the NC Legislature.

Its sultry after-hours ambience is enhanced by brocade-patterned wall panels planted with orange-shaded lanterns. And the atmosphere is warmer and sexier than in Manhattan's other major supper clubs."
