September 23rd marks the opening of the sixth show of the Ivoryton Playhouse's 2015 season and it arrives fully fanged and demanding blood! A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, Little Shop Of Horrors has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for over 30 years. Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (Disney's The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Aladdin) are the creative geniuses behind what has become one of the most popular shows in the world.

Even before the first act of Godspell began, the energy was palpable in the room. I do not think I have seen a more packed audience at Westchester Broadway Theatre in quite a while; especially since most of the shows presented there are more conventional.

Westchester Broadway Theatre is thrilled to bring this timeless classic to the WBT stage!  Director John Fanelli, who has directed SOS productions ofPeter Pan, Big River and Ragtime, here at WBT, will be at the helm. The Associate Director/Choreographer is Jonathan Stahl. The Musical Director is Bill Stanley.

This immensely successful rock opera was the first major musical theatre offering from 3-time Grammy and Academy Award winner Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin, Children of Eden).

The Award-winning Astoria Performing Arts Center (APAC), will be presenting Merrily We Roll Along, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a book by George Furth, based on the original play by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart. The musical will be choreographed by Misha Shields, musical directed by Ming Aldrich-Gan and directed by APAC's Artistic Director Dev Bondarin. The musical begins on Thursday, April 30, 2015 and continues through Saturday, May 23, 2015. APAC's performance venue is located at the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 30-44 Crescent St (@ 30th Rd), in Astoria, Queens.

American Theater Group's 'tick, tick...BOOM!' will be on Rahway's Hamilton Stage from January 28th through February 8th. The autobiographical musical by Jonathan Larson, the creator of 'Rent' stars Nicholas Park as Jon.

American Theater Group, New Jersey's newest professional theater company in residence at Hamilton Stage at Union County Performing Arts Center (360 Hamilton Street, Rahway), will present Jonathan Larson's rock musical tick, tick... BOOM!. The production will run January 28 through February 8 (Opening Night: Saturday, January 31 at 8PM). Directed by Igor Goldin, with music direction by Vince Di Mura, the cast will feature Nicholas Park, Shannon O'Boyle, and Michael Luwoye. Tonight, October 16th, Broadway Sessions celebrates Off Broadway offerings The Fantasticks and BedBugs!!!, as well as the upcoming national tour of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, The Musical.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week.
