BEDBUGS!!! Cast Set for RIPLEY'S BELIEVE IT OR NOT Tomorrow in Times Square
This Saturday October 11, 2014, the hit Off-Broadway musical Bedbugs!!! will perform the song "Don't Let the Bedbugs Bite" as part of Comic Con's Super Week, in front of Times Square's Ripley's Believe It or Not (234 West 42nd Street) between 12pm -1pm. The cast will include Courtney Bassett, Danny Bolero, Colin Scott Cahill, Nicholas Park, Barry Shafrin and Gretchen Wylder.
Bedbugs!!! is the award winning girl-meets-bug sci-fi-rock-musical-comedy. Carly, an exterminator, is hell-bent on avenging her mother's bedbug-related death. In an effort to permanently rid the city of its infestation, she accidentally mutates the pests into an army of human-size, intelligent, carnal creatures out for blood and world domination.
Bedbugs!!! is presented by Dale Joan Young, written by composer, Paul Leschen with book & lyricist Fred Sauter, it features direction and choreography by Robert Bartley with musical supervision by Deborah Hurwitz.
The creative team includes costume design by Philip Heckman, lighting design by Kirk Fitzgerald, scenic design by Adam Demerath, sound design by Ed Chapman, wigs, hair and make-up design by Bobbie Cliffton Zlotnik, props design by Cameron Pate and Adam Roberts is the associate choreographer and Emily Cates is the production stage manager.
Bedbugs!!! has extended and will now run through November 2, 2014 t the ArcLight Theatre (152 West 71 Street). Performance Schedule: Tuesday - Friday at 8PM; Saturday at 3PM & 8PM; Sunday at 3PM & 7PM. Running time: 2 hours 10 minutes with intermission.
