None of the Above by Jenny Lyn Bader will be presented by Pegasus Theatre as a Churchmouse production at the Bath House Cultural Center today, August 14 - 30, 2014. None of the Above will be directed by Jared Culpepper.

On­­­­ Friday, September 12 and Sunday, September 14 at 7:30 PM, AOP (American Opera Projects) will present these and other excerpts of new operas at COMPOSERS & THE VOICE: SIX SCENES 2014, the culmination of this season's Composers & the Voice (C&V) opera training program. Audiences will see scenes by five emerging composers - Guy Barash, Avner Finberg, Jeremy Gill, Andreia Pinto-Correia, Gity Razaz - and one composer/librettist team, Joseph Rubinstein and Jason Kim, who were chosen by AOP to spend a year creating new works focusing on the operatic voice. The performances will be held at South Oxford Space in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, home of AOP. Tickets are $15 general admission, $10 for students/seniors and are available at www.operaprojects.org.

The New Group has announced today complete casting for David Rabe's Sticks and Bones, the production that launches the company's 20th Anniversary Season. This production will feature Richard Chamberlain, Nadia Gan, Morocco Omari, Ben Schnetzer, Raviv Ullman, and as previously announced, Holly Hunter and Bill Pullman. Scott Elliott directs. Previews begin October 2014. A limited Off-Broadway engagement is slated through December 14, 2014. Opening Night date to be announced.

Bravo Media returns to the high seas as season two of 'Below Deck' premieres tonight, August 12 at 9p.m ET/PT. The series follows a group of crewmembers living and working aboard 'Ohana,' a 153' mega-yacht during the charter season in the British Virgin Islands.

Casting has been completed for the world premiere of Jordan Harrison's 'Marjorie Prime,' opening September 21, 2014, at the Center Theatre Group/Mark Taper Forum. Internationally produced playwright Deborah Brevoort premieres her new farce The Velvet Weapon at Trustus Theatre in The Vista. This script is the winner of the Trustus Playwrights' Festival, an annual competition that gives a full production to a new original work. After sixteen years as a for-profit producing organization Horse Trade Theater Group will merge into FRIGID New York. Horse Trade will still operate as a venue manager for The Kraine Theater at 85 East 4th Street and UNDER St. Marks at 94 St. Marks Place, but all in-house productions, festivals, and the Resident Artist Program will now be presented by the nonprofit organization FRIGID New York, producers of the annual FRIGID Festival.
