America's preeminent progressive rock band KANSAS will tour select U.S. cities this fall, celebrating the 40th anniversary of their massive hit album “Point of Know Return” and performing the album in its entirety. The tour will showcase more than two hours of classic KANSAS music including hit songs, deep cut, and fan favorites, making a stop at The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts on Saturday, November 17 at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale to theatre members Wednesday, March 21 at 10 a.m. and go on sale to the general public Friday, March 23 at 10 a.m.

West Coast psychedelic pillars Wooden Shjips recently announced V., their first album since 2013, which shows the band acting in opposition to the dark vibes of contemporary American life in favor of an optimistic, bright mood. The band has now announced an extensive string of North American dates, bringing their peaceful resistance to cities around the continent early this summer. Legendarily powerful in the live arena, Wooden Shjips perfect their hypnotic grooves on stage, with The Queitus saying of a 2013 show, “Beset on all sides by projected oscillations and Joshua Light Show visuals, every track is a 'trip' in the truest possible sense.”

San Francisco based singer-songwriter Liz Kennedy finds fresh ways to define rootsy - including bringing in legendary bluesman Taj Mahal who contributes his inimitable vocals and banjo to the buoyant tune 'Everyone Knows How It Goes.'

They pass the hours searching for treasure while they wait for the full moon to lend its magic, bring the music and make the spirits fly. Vibrating with original music by Young + Promise of the Real, PARADOX furthers the legacy of an iconic performer who has always broken the rules.

Neil Young + Promise Of The Real will release PARADOX (Original Music from The Film) on double vinyl and digital on March 23, with the CD to follow onApril 20. PARADOX (Original Music from the Film) features music from Young + POTR and Young with an Orchestra recorded on the MGM Soundstage, Young backed by Jim Keltner, Paul Bushnell and Joe Yankee, and several solo electric guitar passages. All music was recorded spontaneously with no overdubs (with the exception of Joe Yankee, who phoned in his part from Canada) and provides the soundtrack to Paradox, the film.

Massey Hall in association with The Musical Stage Company presents Tony Award-winning actor and activist Alan Cumming for his Legal Immigrant tour on Saturday, June 16. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 9 at 10am.

Neil Young is set to release one of the most sought-after recordings from his vast archives, Roxy – Tonight's The Night Live on three-sided 2LP set exclusively on Record Store Day, April 21st.  This was the first public performance of many of the songs that would make up Young's seminal album Tonight's The Night, which would not be released until June 1975. The album's final track “Walk On” would not appear until the release ofOn The Beach, in July 1974.

Multimillion-selling French singer-songwriter Francis Cabrel will play the Royal Albert Hall for the first time ever this October. The 64-year-old performer, whose music mixes folk, jazz and blues, has sold more than 25 million records across an international career spanning 44 years, but this is the first time he's appeared at the iconic London venue.

Worcester will learn a thing or two when Sister returns to teach her Late Nite Catechism at The Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts on Thursday, June 14 at 8 p.m. Tickets are now on sale to theatre members and go on sale to the general public Tuesday, March 6 at 10 a.m.

Let's hear it! In celebration of Vancouver hosting the Juno awards, Vancouver Civic Theatres has compiled some of the best Canadian Rockumentary Films for a special film series which includes screenings of The Last Waltz, Festival Express and RUSH: Beyond the Lighted Stage.

Yung Wu, an offshoot of New Jersey-based avant-pop pioneers the Feelies, will be celebrating the re-release of their debut album performing at The Woodland in Maplewood, New Jersey on Friday March 9. The presenter of these concerts is the non-profit organization Rent Party (http://rentpartylive.com/wp/). Started in 2009, Rent Party is a once-a-month live music event at The Woodlands. The proceeds from these shows help fight hunger in our community. Rent Party supports three local food pantries. They built and maintain a large community garden on the front lawn of the South Orange Elks that raises fresh produce for the pantries they support. Rent Party's BackPack Pals program provides a weekend's worth of nutritious food to about 100 food-insecure kids in our schools. Legendary singer Johnny Mathis, celebrating his 62nd year as a recording artist, will perform his greatest hits and personal favorites in The Voice of Romance Tour at The Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts on Saturday, June 16 at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale to theatre members on Thursday, March 1 at 10 a.m. and go on sale to the general public Friday, March 2 at 10 a.m.
