Now Eric Carle's creations "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" and other favorite characters are making their way from the page to the stage in a one-of-a-kind, live production. Jim Messina's legacy spans five decades and three acclaimed rock super groups: Loggins & Messina, Buffalo Springfield, and Poco. The legendary Rufus and Martha Wainwright Christmas show, "Noel Nights," is returning to New York City after a four-year hiatus. Featuring three generations of the Wainwright and McGarrigle families, along with many other special guests, this annual holiday extravaganza will bring the Christmas spirit to Town Hall on Sunday, December 16th.

Lion Eagle Productions, LLC today announced that - after covering such diverse artists as Rush, Bruce Hornsby and Motley Crue - Glorified High School (GHS) recently realized its greatest ambition by recording a track-for-track reimagining of the 1987 'Whitesnake' album. This new album of cover songs takes popular '80s rock songs to new places sonically and emotionally.

Fans of Tim Burton's 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' will now have another chance to celebrate the film's 25th anniversary with Disney In Concert at the Hollywood Bowl on Sunday, October 28th at 7:30 pm. Los Angeles' reigning Pumpkin King, Danny Elfman, will return to the Hollywood Bowl performing his role of Jack Skellington singing live to film for a very special screening of Disney's timeless holiday classic on October 26, 27 & 28. The immersive experience will include live scenery projections, live orchestra, spectacular guest artists, and an all-star cast. Elfman will be joined by other original cast members including Catherine O'Hara (Sally) and Ken Page (Oogie Boogie) who headlined the opening production, which sold out two nights over Halloween weekend at the Hollywood Bowl in 2015 and returned for 3 nights in 2016 due to popular demand.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Booker T. Jones will bring his band to Newton North High School on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at 7:30PM.  Proceeds from the "Songs and Stories from the Birth of Soul' concert will support the work of Historic Newton. Finding Neverland, the enchanting Broadway musical set to soar on tour this fall, will be making its way to The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts Wednesday, January 2 - Sunday, January 6. One of seven shows in The Hanover Theatre's 10th Anniversary Broadway Series, Finding Neverland is generously sponsored by Commerce Bank, a division of Berkshire Bank. Tickets are now on sale.

Perhaps the most interesting work is that which can't be easily categorised; which seems to drift in on its own breeze, distinct and compelling. Ryan Von Gonten's new album is certainly one such thing, calmly moving between genres and influences with such ease and consideration you barely even notice the change. Ovens Auditorium will host rock icon John Mellencamp as part of 'The John Mellencamp Show' tour on Friday, March 22, 2019, at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale on Friday, Sept. 21 at 10 a.m.

MusicWorks today announced that it would be presenting 15 classic folk and rock concerts October through April at Old School Square, located at 51 N. Swinton Avenue in Delray Beach. Ten of the concerts will be presented in the venue's Crest Theatre, while five will be held in Old School Square's outdoor Pavilion.
