Broadway actor and producer Mark Linn-Baker will discuss the implications of short-term memory loss for an actor after the screening of Gaylen Ross's film Caris' Peace at the Rubin Museum on March 10 at 6 p.m. Tickets are $15. VSC Artistic Director Chris Hanna announced today that the Company will present the Virginia Premiere of The Whipping Man by Matthew Lopez February 26 through March 17th, 2013 at the historic Wells Theatre. It will be a bicoastal co-production with Marin Theatre Company in Mill Valley, CA.

Little Me, the musical comedy by Neil Simon (book), Cy Coleman (music), and Carolyn Leigh (lyrics) will be presented by Good Theater March 7 - April 1 at the St. Lawrence Arts Center. Little Me is directed by Brian P. Allen with musical direction by Victoria Stubbs, leading the three-piece band, and choreography by Tyler Sperry.

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre has brought many theatrical premieres to the area including being one of the first theaters in the country to obtain the rights to produce a regional theater production of the musical comedy The Wedding Singer. Other shows, such as Neil Simon's The Goodbye Girl - The Musical, La Cage aux Folles, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Mel Brooks'The Producers, and All Shook Up made their western Maryland regional theater debuts at Way Off Broadway.
