The Community College of Baltimore County celebrates National International Education Week this month, exploring global education through music, dance, art and theatre. CCBC also hosts many varied activities.

Northlight Theatre, under the direction of Artistic Director BJ Jones and Executive Director Timothy J. Evans, continues its 2012-2013 season with Neil Simon's The Odd Couple, featuring legendary comic actors Tim Kazurinsky and George Wendt, directed by Artistic Director BJ Jones. The comedy will play at Northlight Theatre, 9501 Skokie Blvd in Skokie, from November 2-December 9, 2012. The Press Opening is Today, November 9, at 7:30 pm.

The production has been extended multiple times and is now in final weeks, ending its successful Chicago run on November 11.

The Children's Playhouse of Maryland, Inc., in residence at the Community College of Baltimore County, Essex, presents Neil Simon's comedy THE ODD COUPLE using male and female versions which will be presented on alternating dates. Each cast features eight student actors from Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Harford County.

Due to overwhelming demand, SILENCE! The Musical has just added two performances to the weekly playing schedule (as of October 23rd) at the Elektra Theatre in Times Square: Tuesdays at 7 PM and Saturday matinees at 2 PM.

Based on the best selling novel by the author of The Chosen, My Name is Asher Lev, a new play by Aaron Posner, begins performances at The Westside Theatre(407 W. 43rd Street) on November 8, and opening night is set for November 28. Mark Nelson and Jenny Bacon have joined the cast as Asher Lev's parents, Aryeh and Rivkeh. The cast met the press yesterday and you can catch full coverage from the event below!
