MTV is reporting that Neil Patrick Harris will provide the voice for the Music Meister, a brand-new villain created specifically for 'Batman: The Brave and the Bold.' Harris' character will appear in an episode called 'Mayhem of the Music Meister!,' set to debut during Comic-Con International.

Nominations for the 61st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were announced this morning by CHICAGO and Grey's Anatomy star Chandra Wilson and The Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons. A number of theatre favorites were among the nominees announced including Glenn Close, Jessica, Ian McKellen, Elisabeth Moss.

Variety reports that Emmy winning director Glenn Weiss has been chosen to helm the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards. This will be Weiss' debut guiding the TV awards show.

The Tony Awards sent a notice out today to journalists who currently reside on the Broadway League's 'First Night Press List' (those who are invited to see productions just prior to opening night) that they'll no longer be eligible to vote for the Tony Awards beginning with the 2009-2010 season.
