MUSE/IQUE, Pasadena's pioneering live music organization and counter-conventional orchestra, announces additional programming for its inaugural summer series at The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens on June 30, July 28 and August 25, 2018. Performances will take place at the Brown Garden Lawn, adjacent to the Virginia Steele Scott Galleries of American Art. Tickets are on sale now at http://muse-ique.com/. Aptly titled STATES/UNITED: Mapping Musical America, the three-part series of live events at the Huntington will celebrate and explore the unique American sound.

Lewis & Tolkien: Of Wardrobes and Rings, written by and featuring David Payne and directed by Marc Whitmore,will make its New York debut at the Black Box Theater at The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture. Performances began on May 23 with opening night scheduled for May 31, the engagement runs throughJune 14.

Nashville singer/songwriter Gretchen Peters has released her new album Dancing With The Beast. A collection of songs which give voice to powerful stories of personal struggle, loss, doubt and redemption, the record has already generated acclaim from publications such as Rolling Stone Country, Taste of Country, Digital Journal, and more. 'I admire characters that are heroic in a very quiet, kind of stoic way,' says Peters.
