Dickinson, with special guest Nathan Lane, have been announced as presenters and performers at the 69th Annual Theatre World Awards Ceremony on Monday evening, June 3, 2013 beginning at 6:45 p.m. at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street), home of the current Broadway revival of Pippin. Mother and daughter, Rosemary Harris and Jennifer Ehle, both Theatre World Award Alumni, are 2013 Honorary Co-Chairs.

The Tony Awards are now less than a month away, and I've really been enjoying revisiting memories, cast albums, and even shows themselves since the nominations were announced! It's a brand new year at Bay Street Theatre and a brand new 22nd season has just been announced! Three hilarious shows have been chosen for this year's Mainstage Season. The shows are LEND ME A TENOR, by Ken Ludwig; directed by Don Stephenson (May 28 - June 23), THE MYSTERY OF IRMA VEP by Charles Ludlum; directed by Kenneth Elliott (July 2 - 28) and A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM, directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge; book by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.

Today we are kicking off BroadwayWorld's 2013 Tony Awards Clip Countdown with a special spotlight focused on the nominees for this year's big, big show as we look ahead to the 2013 Tony Awards - Broadway's biggest night - on Sunday, June 9, on CBS! The dynamic divas and devos of KINKY BOOTS - say 'Yeah!' - to the assortment of pre-adolescents populating MATILDA; the persuasive charms of the circus-themed revival of PIPPIN to the re-imagined Rodgers & Hammerstein world of CINDERELLA; to say nothing of the tremendous dramatic and comedic performances in plays like LUCKY GUY, THE ASSEMBLED PARTIES, VONYA AND SONYA AND MASCHA AND SPIKE and THE NANCE, to name but a few - the 2012-2013 Broadway season has been filled with fabulous performances and star-making turns. But, the primary question on everyone's lips along the Great White Way is who will take home top honors on Tony night?

The annual ROCK THE DOCK! SUMMER BENEFIT BASH on Saturday, July 20, will be hosted by the one and only Susan Lucci. Actor and Bay Street Board Member, Richard Kind, who most recently won the DRAMA DESK AWARD for his role on Broadway's THE BIG KNIFE, will be the evening's celebrity auctioneer. The gala is being held in memory of the Theatre's founder and former Artistic Director, Sybil Christopher. Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers and commentators for media covering New York theatre celebrated its award winners for the 2012-13 season in 24 categories. Last night's AMERICAN MASTERS: Mel Brooks - MAKE A NOISE special on PBS has officially made its way online. The network has made the entire doc available for streaming, featuring new interviews with Matthew Broderick, Nathan Lane, Cloris Leachman, Carl Reiner, Joan Rivers, Tracey Ullman, and others, which you can watch here.

In PBS's AMERICAN MASTERS: Mel Brooks - MAKE A NOISE, comedian Mel Brooks shares never-before-heard stories about his personal life and 60-year career in the film. The larger-than-life legend is very private, making his participation in this film a genuine first. Featuring new interviews with Matthew Broderick, Nathan Lane, Cloris Leachman, Carl Reiner, Joan Rivers, Tracey Ullman, and others, the film will premiere nationally tonight, May 20 at 9 p.m. on PBS (check local listings) and available on DVD May 21 from Shout!
