The national tour of DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, which played at Kingsbury Hall this past weekend, is a spirited, magical production of the beloved musical.

David Mirvish is delighted to announce, due to popular demand the Toronto production of the Tony Award-winning 'Best Musical' ONCE extends performances through May 31, 2015 at the Ed Mirvish Theatre. The new block of tickets go on sale Monday February 2, 2015.

Manila, Philippines--The first-ever international touring production of the Broadway hit musical Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast,' based on the 1991 Oscar-winning full-length animated feature film, and now--after 20 years--has reunited its original 1994 Broadway collaborators: director Robert Jess Roth, choreographer Matt West, scenic designer Stan Meyer, costume designer Ann Hould-Ward, lighting designer Natasha Katz, bookwriter Linda Woolverton, composer Alan Menken, and lyricists Tim Rice (and the late Howard Ashman), is extending its Asian kickoff for another week from Sunday, February 1, to Sunday, February 8, at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP). The show was originally announced to close Sunday, January 25.

The new Broadway production of Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe's beloved Oscar and Tony Award-winning film and stage musical, Gigi, began its pre-Broadway engagement in the Eisenhower Theater at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. on January 16 and continues through February 12, 2015. Opening night is tonight, January 29, 2015.

Broadway In Chicago has announced that individual tickets for Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, the award-winning worldwide smash hit Broadway musical, go on sale to the public today, January 23 at 10 AM. Produced by NETworks Presentations, this elaborate theatrical production will come to life on stage at the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W Randolph) for a limited one-week engagement March 25 through 29.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, School of Rock-The Musical, will soon have its World Premiere on Broadway. Previews will begin on Monday, November 2, 2015 at the Winter Garden Theatre, with an opening set for Sunday, December 6. Today, January 24, hundreds of musically gifted children will gather at the Winter Garden for a once-in-a-lifetime chance to join the most famous kid band of all time. An open casting call will be held today, where hundreds of kids will try to rock, whale, strum and drum their way to Broadway glory on the stage of the Winter Garden Theatre (former home, for nearly 18 record-shattering years, to Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats). An additional open casting call for young performers will take place in Chicago on Saturday, January 24 at Actor's Equity Association (557 W. Randolph Street). The touring production of MOTOWN the Musical sent a special 'Happy Trails' to the Broadway Production of MOTOWN, closing today, Sunday Jan. 18. With direction and arrangement by Jesse Nager (Smokey Robinson) the video features Julius Thomas III (Berry Gordy), Allison Semmes (Diana Ross), Jarran Muse (Marvin Gaye), Krisha Mercano (Suzanne De Passe), and Rod Harrelson (dance captain), all of whom joined the tour from the Broadway company.
