Filipino-American performing artist Stephanie Reese wears many hats: for the theater enthusiast, she is Esmeralda in the world premiere production of Disney's HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME or the "German" Kim in the German production of MISS SAIGON; for the concertgoer, she is the "Standing Ovation Queen," who never fails to bring her audiences to their feet, and who once shared the stage with Grammy winners Patti Labelle and Natalie Cole; and for the social worker - for nonprofit organizations such as Gawad Kalinga, Make A Wish Foundation, or World Vision - she is a young lady who has a compassionate heart for children who are in dire need of help.

On Monday, July 16, Broadway at Birdland is proud to present multi-Grammy and Tony nominated composer Frank Wildhorn in his monthly concert series called "Frank & Friends." Joining Frank onstage will be gifted Grammy-nominated jazz singer Jane Monheit, and Las Vegas and Cafe Carlyle headliner Clint Holmes.

Broadway at Birdland previously announced a partnership with multi-Grammy and Tony nominated composer Frank Wildhorn for a monthly concert series called "Frank & Friends." The series of one-night-only concerts will feature the songs and performers from the composer's range of work in popular, theatrical and classical music. All profits will go to The Actors Fund, a nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in the performing arts and entertainment.

Josiah Theatre Works' 4th Anniversary GALA continues with its grand reception honors and the world premiere drama with music, 'Sangin' the Tears Away,' inspired by the life of superstar Natalie Cole, with book and lyrics written by Nickolas Long, III, directed by Nickolas Long, III, and a surprise guest assistant director, the show runs tonight, June 10, 2012, with a 6 p.m. VIP reception and honors and curtain at 7 p.m. Tickets are $60, which includes the pre-reception honors.
