JAMS celebrates their 9th season at The Harriet on Feb. 24, as pianist and University of Miami Frost School of Music Dean Shelly Berg and his trio team up with clarinet virtuouso Ken Peplowski for what's sure to be an exciting set of traditional jazz. Peplowski apprenticed with the bands of Tommy Dorsey and Benny Goodman in the late '70s and early '80s, and is perhaps best known for his sparkling duet work with guitarist Howard Alden, with whom he also teamed for the soundtrack to the Woody Allen movie Sweet and Lowdown.

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed 'Best of New York' by New York Magazine, and 'an invaluable New York institution' by The New York Post, continues its 10th Anniversary season with the debut of ALEXIS HOUSTON. In her show 'Speak Love - The Art of Song,' the songwriter and producer shares a selection of her standard favorites and original compositions in this one night only performance which includes a special surprise guest. Musical Director Shelton Becton will lead a seven-piece band. The show, produced by All's Well Music/Houston Entertainment, will be at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street.

Paterson, and other notables have taken the lead to collaborate in support of students of color at Juilliard via a scholarship benefit concert honoring legendary Juilliard alumnus, Luther Henderson, Mr. Henderson, who died in 2003, was a gifted American arranger, composer and orchestrator with an extraordinary talent for creating music for choreographic movement.
