SHE LOVES ME, the musical comedy currently playing at Westport Country Playhouse, has extended their run thru Saturday May 15. Originally scheduled to end May 8, the four additional performances will be May 13-14 at 8 pm, and May 15 at 4 and 8 pm.

The Gallery Players proudly announces its line up for The 13th Annual Black Box New Play Festival. The festival boasts the world premieres of 19 new plays, opening in Brooklyn Thursday, June 3rd with a new adaptation of CANDIDE, by TJ Edwards (The Pearl Theatre Company), directed by The Gallery Players' Executive Director Neal J. The enchanting musical romantic comedy, 'She Loves Me,' with all the grace and spirit that established it as one of the all-time great Broadway classics, will begin Westport Country Playhouse's 80th anniversary season, April 20 - May 8. Featuring an alluring musical score and delightful lyrics by the Tony Award-winning team who created 'Fiddler on the Roof,' the production will be directed by Mark Lamos, Playhouse artistic director.

The New York Times is reporting that the Off-Broadway hit Yank! is now Broadway-bound for the 2010-2011 theatre season. No details on the theatre, schedule or if the cast would remain in tact were announced for the move, which is said to be budgeted at $5 million dollars.
