The Ivoryton Players, a drama club for adults, will present a staged reading of George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart's THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER, on Saturday, November 21st at 7pm at the Ivoryton Playhouse.

Today in 1960, Camelot opened at the Majestic Theatre, where it ran for 873 performances. Camelot is a musical by Alan Jay Lerner (book and lyrics) and Frederick Loewe (music). It is based on the King Arthur legend as adapted from the T. H. White tetralogy novel The Once and Future King. The original 1960 production, directed by Moss Hart and orchestrated by Robert Russell Bennett and Philip J. Lang, won four Tony Awards and spawned several revivals, foreign productions and a 1967 film version.

It's been quite a fall for one of Broadway's crowned princes. At the end of August, Santino Fontana finished filming the first season of SHADES OF BLUE, opposite Jennifer Lopez and Ray Liotta, which premieres on NBC on January 14th. Then, the next day, he married Jessica Hershberg, whom he met backstage at Birdland in 2011, both waiting to perform. The couple, who briefly overlapped as cast members in RODGERS & HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA, then headed to L.A. where Fontana began shooting the new musical comedy CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND. Hershberg, having adopted her married name, just recently headed back to New York to begin rehearsals for the Transport Group's production of ONCE UPON A MATTRESS, where she will star opposite Jackie Hoffman (Lady Larkin and Princess Winnifred respectively).

The Faith Lutheran Conservatory of the Fine Arts is proud to present Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman's award winning You Can't Take it with You. An evening of American Classic comedic theatre in Summerlin takes the stage November 6, 7, & 8 and November 13, 14, & 15 at Faith Lutheran High School. Performances are 7:00 pm Fridays and Saturdays with a 4:00 pm matinee on Sundays.

You Can't Take It With You, directed by Devon de Mayo, runs November 6 - December 13, 2015 at Northlight Theatre, 9501 Skokie Blvd in Skokie.

The director and designers behind Rubicon Theatre Company's acclaimed environmental productions ofFiddler on the Roof and Man of La Mancha have reunited on the two-piano chamber version of the legendary Lerner and Loewe's classic My Fair Lady. Based on George Bernard Shaw's play Pygmalion, the musical tells the story of Professor Henry Higgins, an arrogant and attractive phonetician who makes a wager that he can transform a 'deliciously low' Cockney flower-seller (Eliza Doolittle) into an elegant lady by teaching her to speak more beautifully. The magnificent score includes 'I Could Have Danced All Night,' 'On the Street Where You Live,' 'Wouldn't It Be Loverly,' and 'I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face.' For Rubicon's production, Director James O'Neil returns to the source material to explore the Shavian themes of class struggle, social reform and women's rights.

Celebrate the storied history of this classic stage musical, whose screen version is being released in a breathtaking new restoration.

ACT ONE, Lincoln Center Theater's Tony Award-nominated production from last year, written and directed by James Lapine from the autobiography by Moss Hart, will air on PBS's LIVE FROM LINCOLN CENTER on Friday, November 13, 2015 from 9 to 11:30 p.m. ET.

YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU is the current production running at The New Theatre in Overland Park, Kansas. Dennis D. Hennessy directs the comedic play written by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart. James A. Misenheimer provides a fantastic set for the cast to operate in and Treva Farrell designed the choreography mainly performed by Katie Karel as Essie Carmichael.
