The Pasadena Playhouse presents the hit Broadway musical revue SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE - THE SONGS OF LEIBER & STOLLER. Alton Fitzgerald White, who currently plays the starring role of Mufasa in Disney's 'Lion King' at Mandalay Bay, will present an evening of holiday music with two charity benefit concerts on Friday, Dec. 4 at the intimate Cabaret Showroom at the Liberace Museum, 1775 E. Tropicana Ave. at Spencer. White is donating all proceeds from ticket sales to benefit the Cabaret Fund for the non-profit Liberace Foundation & Museum

The world premiere of Tim Acito's musical adaptation of Gloria Naylor's novel, The Women of Brewster Place, opens at Arena Stage after its successful co-production run at Atlanta's Alliance Theatre. The Women of Brewster Place runs October 19 - December 9 in the Kreeger Theater; Opening performance is Friday, October 26 at 8PM.
