Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts will be live-streaming eleven concerts this summer from its Out of Doors series and Mostly Mozart Festival, making concerts from the world's leading performing arts center more accessible to fans around the globe. Tonight at 7PM, tune in right here for Randy Newman, Wycliffe Gordon and His International All-Stars and Lil Buck. With songs that run the gamut from heartbreaking to satirical, plus a host of unforgettable film scores, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Randy Newman has created musical masterpieces widely recognized by generations of audiences. Master trombonist Wycliffe Gordon and his jet-setting band will bring their signature sound to a set of New Orleans tunes. And the jaw-droppingly virtuosic Lil Buck starts the evening with the blend of Memphis street style (jookin') and contemporary dance that sparked collaborations with Yo-Yo Ma, Madonna, and Mikhail Baryshnikov.

New York City's Ensemble for the Romantic Century (ERC) returns to the Berkshires for the third consecutive summer with the regional premiere of the theatrical concert Van Gogh's Ear. In partnership with the American Institute for Economic Research and the Clark Art Institute, the 10-day, 12-performance series of Van Gogh's Ear complements Clark's art exhibition Van Gogh and Nature and features a special pre-performance discussion August 25th led by the Clark's curator at large, Richard Kendall.

World Premiere of New Dance Play PEARL Set for Lincoln Center's Koch Theatre, 8/27-30

Pearl, a new multi-cultural dance play inspired by the life of Pearl S. Buck, the first woman to win both the Nobel and the Pulitzer Prizes, will have its world premiere at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center for 4 performances only, August 27-30th. The story, focusing on the substantial influence Pearl had on both Chinese and Western cultures, will be brought to life through new choreography by Daniel Ezralow (Ezralow Dance Company, MOMIX, Sochi Olympics Opening Ceremony, Academy Awards), a new score composed by Jun Miyake (collaborations with Robert Wilson, Pina Bausch, David Byrne and Oliver Stone), dazzling visuals and a company of 30 dancers.

ABT William J. Gillespie School Offers Fall 2015 Classes at Segerstrom Center

Segerstrom Center for the Arts has announced the faculty for its American Ballet Theatre William J. Gillespie School that begins its full 36-week school year on September 14, 2015 and runs through June 11, 2016. The Center has added classes to accommodate the growing enrollment.
