Peter Gallagher has been announced to co-star in a new pilot for USA Network, Covert Affairs. The show centers on Annie Walker (Piper Perabo), a multilingual CIA trainee who joins the agency while reeling over a mysterious ex-boyfriend who appears to be of particular interest to her bosses. Gallagher will play CIA director Arthur Campbell, a regal man and former Naval officer who loves a good fight, great Scotch and a filthy joke.

Ascetic Productions and Baruch Performing Arts Center has announced that the New York premiere of 'The Buddha Play', written and performed by Evan Brenner and directed by David Fuhrer, will begin previews Sept. 10 with an opening on Sept. 26 at Baruch Performing Arts Center at Baruch College, entrance on East 25th Street between Lexington and 3rd Avenues.

Directed by Tony Award®-winner Mike Nichols, with a book by Eric Idle and music and lyrics by the Grammy Award-winning team of Mr. Idle and John Du Prez, Spamalot tells the tale of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table as they embark on their quest for the Holy Grail. The Hansberry Project at ACT presents a benefit reading of Lorraine Hansberry's The Sign In Sidney Brustein's Window, Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 7:30 p.m., in the Bullitt Cabaret at ACT Theatre. Tickets are $25. Funds raised support ongoing development of Hansberry projects and new works.

Monty Python's Spamalot begins a two month run in Los Angeles on July 7th. The show plays at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre (At the Music Center, 135 N. Grand Avenue in Downtown L.A.) There will be a preview performance on July 7 at 8 p.m. Monty Python's Spamlot opens July 8 at 8 p.m, and will perform through September 6, 2009.

Signature Theatre Company (James Houghton, Founding Artistic Director; Erika Mallin, Executive Director) is pleased to announce that the theatre's 20th Anniversary season in 2010-2011, celebrating author Tony Kushner, will feature the first New York revival of Kushner's Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning epic work, ANGELS IN AMERICA: A GAY FANTASIA ON NATIONAL THEMES. The production will be directed by Michael Greif with Part One: MILLENNIUM APPROACHES and Part Two: PERESTROIKA presented in repertory. 'Monty Python's Spamalot' plays through September 6, 2009. The Ahmanson production marks the first time the international hit comedy has been presented in Los Angeles. John O'Hurley stars as King Arthur.
