The Common Air, written by Alex Lyras and Robert McCaskill, features Alex Lyras portraying 6 diverse characters caught in an airport delay. The comedy, with an original score and sound design composed by Ken Rich, opens FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6th at 8 PM at 45 Bleecker Street Theatre and plays every Friday at 8 pm through December 18th (with an additional performance on Wednesday, December 30 at 8 PM).

REVIEW: If you have not had any prior or much exposure to the absurdist comedy of Monty Python before, don't fear (or, worse, soil your pants and run away). Not knowing anything from their decades-long catalog of shtick will not prevent you from enjoying MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT, one of the funniest musicals ever to grace the main stage of the Orange County Performing Arts Center. The legendary tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, and their quest for the Holy Grail will be told for the last time Sunday, October 18th, 2009 in Costa Mesa. Monty Python's Spamalot, the 2005 Tony Award winner for Best Musical will end its reign on the road.

The national tour of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Monty Python's Spamalot will end after its run at the Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa, CA. The production will run from October 6 - October 18. John O'Hurley ('Seinfeld,' 'Dancing with the Stars') will reprise his role of King Arthur for the musical's final performances.

The musical's tour will have played 1408 performances over 101 separate engagements throughout North America, to an audience estimated at nearly 3.6 million people.
