MOTOWN THE MUSICAL's Tony Award nominated leading lady Valisia LeKae, who stars in the new hit musical based on the life of Motown founder Berry Gordy, recently sat down with NBC's "The Grio" host Chris Witherspoon for a special segment on portraying the legendary Diana Ross for the first time ever on a Broadway stage and playing to standing ovations in the biggest box office hit of the season. The Estate of Michael Jackson and Cirque du Soleil announced today that Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour will arrive in Australia in September this year.

Cirque du Soleil will debut its new show, 'Michael Jackson ONE' at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino this summer. Previews are slated to begin tonight, May 23, with opening night set for June 29, 2013.

A new initiative focused on raising awareness for school music funding titled 'Rise Up Project' (www.riseupproject.org) has united the Chandler, Arizona school Bright Beginnings with the Los Angeles-based Cavalier Artist Group to produce a performance DVD and CD.

Tickets go on sale for Lincoln Center's Midsummer Night Swing starting Wednesday, May 22. Individual tickets are $17, which includes a dance lesson with a professional instructor followed by two sets of dancing under the stars to a live orchestra. This summer marks the 25th Anniversary season of Midsummer Night Swing, and to celebrate, tickets will be sold at a special '2 for $25' price on May 22 only. There are also Midsummer Night Passes priced at $84 for six admissions, and $170 for the full season. Four-admission passes are available for $60.
