Michael Harrison and David Ian are delighted to announce the UK and Ireland tour dates for Thea Sharrock's hit production of the West End musical THE BODYGUARD. Following the recent confirmation that Beverley Knight will be leading MEMPHIS in the West End, the star has set her departure date from THE BODYGUARD for May 31. Now, The Daily Mail reports that The X Factor's 2008 champion Alexandra Burke will take her place at the Adelphi Theatre, beginning June 2.

Curtain Call Productions is blurring the lines between comedy and tragedy in its poignant and darkly comedy Assassins at their new home in Flagler Place in Historic Downtown Stuart. Assassins, a tony-award winning musical that explores the personalities and the motives behind some of America's most infamous characters, will be Curtain Call's biggest undertaking of the season with an ensemble cast of 16.

The Bodyguard has been announced as one of the 16 West End productions eligible to receive the BBC Radio 2 Audience Award at this year's Olivier Awards 2014 ceremony on 13 April. The Audience Award is the only Olivier Award decided entirely by members of the public. The winning show will then be announced, along with the rest of the winners, on the night of the ceremony at the Royal Opera House.
