GHOST: THE MUSICAL is opening for previews tonight at The Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. The show is a huge hit in London, and the producers have promised an even more spectacular evening for Broadway audiences.

Ghost The Musical announced today that a limited number of $25 tickets in the first and second rows of the Orchestra will be available through a lottery drawing for each performance beginning with the first preview on Thursday, March 15th. The lottery will open two and a half hours prior to each performance. The drawing will take place two hours prior to curtain giving all participants 30 minutes to enter the lottery. There is a limit of one entry per person, and two tickets per winner. Ghost The Musical lottery winners must be present at the time of the drawing and valid identification must be shown to purchase tickets. Only cash will be accepted to purchase lottery tickets. All winning entries will be checked for duplication and disqualified if more than one entry was submitted. Lottery tickets are subject to availability and will not be available on Ghost The Musical's Opening Night, April 23, 2012.

Alexander Looby Theatre in The Disappearance of Janey Jones, presented by Tennessee Women's Theater Project (which is directed by Maryanna Clarke, herself a Barn alum).

For many people from that era, Mike Edwards was-and still is, in so many ways-the face of Chaffin's Barn Dinner Theatre, the actor most recognizable for the long list of roles he played there.

In recognition of The Barn's 45 years of bringing the magic of live theater to the stage, we continue our special series of Onstage at The Barn: Memories from The First 45 Years, with actor Mark Delabarre, who made his debut at The Barn in the 1997 production of Sugar Babies-the Broadway musical comedy hit that actually got its start at the Clarence Brown Theatre at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. And like Nancy Allen and Dietz Osborne (the first two Barn alums to take part in our continuing series), Delabarre's memories of working at the theater are vivid, funny and heartfelt.

At the Whats On Stage audience awards, Ghost the Musical's Richard Fleeshman just won 'Best Actor in a Musical' for Ghost. Talking to press after winning, Fleeshman talked about changes to the show that have been made for the currently rehearsing Broadway production, noting that 'We've made it more focused. Some of the illusions have gotten even more incredible and the cast is bigger. It's been very exciting.'

Ghost the Musical, beginning previews March 15th with the opening date set for April 23rd, is directed by Tony Award winner Matthew Warchus (God of Carnage, The Norman Conquests, Boeing-Boeing) and choreographed by Ashley Wallen (The X Factor, Kylie Minogue). Ghost The Musical is created by a team of Grammy and Academy Award winners, with a brand-new original score by Dave Stewart (half of the multi-Grammy Award winning Eurythmics) and Glen Ballard (Michael Jackson's Man In The Mirror, Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill), with a book by Bruce Joel Rubin (Ghost, Jacob's Ladder, The Time Traveler's Wife), who has adapted his Academy Award winning original screenplay for the stage. This brand new score also includes the iconic song 'Unchained Melody,' famously performed in the film by The Righteous Brothers. The Nederlander Theatre box office opens for Newsies Monday, January 30th at 10:00am. The Lunt-Fontanne Theatre Box Office (205 West 46th Street) opens on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 10am for Ghost The Musical.
