The Film Society of Lincoln Center announced today the lineup for this year's edition of Latinbeat, July 12-21. Opening Night launches with LA PAZ by prolific Argentinian filmmaker, Santiago Loza, who has showcased his work at the festival since 2000, and is also an influential playwright in the indie theater scene of Buenos Aires. This year's lineup also includes the previously announced retrospective of filmmaker, Matias Piñeiro, who will screen his films THE STOLEN MAN and THEY ALL LIE during the festival while simultaneously theatrically opening VIOLA and ROSALINDA at the Film Society of Lincoln Center on July 12th.

National Geographic Channel (@NatGeoChannel) today announced that up-and-coming actor Will Rothhaar (@Poetiqrothhaar) has been cast as the volatile former Marine and assassin Lee Harvey Oswald in the upcoming two-hour original factual drama Killing Kennedy by Scott Free Productions. Rothhaar is the final of the four major players in the film to be announced, joining Rob Lowe (John F. Kennedy), Ginnifer Goodwin (Jacqueline Kennedy) and Michelle Trachtenberg (Marina Oswald).

The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced today that due to inclement weather, The Public Theater Gala performance of THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE will now happen on the rain date, Tuesday, June 11 at 8:00 p.m. at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park.
