The Menier Chocolate Factory in association with Strut & Fret welcome the outrageous, larger-than-life, operatic star of La Soiree and the Olivier Award-winning La Clique Le Gateau Chocolat with his sensational solo show from tonight, 13th - 26th August.

International screen and stage star Kim Cattrall leads the cast of William Shakespeare's depiction of politics and passion, alongside distinguished actor Michael Pennington, in the final production at Chichester's Festival Theatre this summer.

Full casting is now complete for the Menier Chocolate Factory production of Brandon Thomas' comedy classic Charley's Aunt, directed by Ian Talbot and starring Mathew Horne, Jane Asher, Norman Pace and Steven Pacey. Although previously confirmed in the cast, Sam Kelly has had to withdraw from the production and is replaced by Charles Kay.

Olympics Gold Medallist Robin Cousins stars on the West End stage as Billy Flynn in the musical CHICAGO at the Garrick Theatre from tonight, 17 July, 10 days ahead of the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony. He will be in the show until 8 September, the day before the final day of the Paralympics.

According to a report from whatsonstage.com, Daniel Lapaine and Darrel D'Silva will join previously cast Sheridan Smith in Ibsen's Hedda Gabler at the Old Vic. Previews begin September 5, with an opening set on September 12, 2012.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Diane Paulus' upcoming production of Pippin might be heading to Broadway after it plays Cambridge's American Repertory Theater in December. Now the New York Times is reporting that Broadway favorites Patina Miller, Terrence Mann, and Charlotte d'Amboise are in talks to star in the production as 'Leading Player,' 'King Charles,' and 'Fastrada' respectively. Additionally, Damon Daunno, who recenty starred in Broadway's Brief Encounter is in talks to play the leading role.

As BroadwayWorld previously announced, Matthew Lewis, best known for playing Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter film series, will make his West End debut this autumn when he joins Cian Barry, Arthur Darvill and Laurence Fox in the cast of Our Boys at the Duchess Theatre (previews from 26 September). Judy Craymer, producer of the global smash-hit musical phenomenon MAMMA MIA! has announced that the new musical, VIVA FOREVER! will open at the PICCADILLY THEATRE in London's West End in perfect time for Christmas. Artistic Director Daniel Evans today announced that Geoffrey Streatfeild and Claudie Blakley will lead the company of Macbeth - the first Crucible production of the company's autumn season - which opens on Wednesday 5 September and runs until Saturday 6 October.
