Rob Hinderliter and Dominick LaRuffa, Jr. of R&D Theatricals (All the Way, On The Town, An American In Paris) announced today that Carla Gugino (Desire Under the Elms, Watchmen) and Tony nominee Will Swenson (Hair, Les Miserables) complete the casting for an invitation-only reading of WONDERFUL - A NEW PLAY on February 26. Directed by Andy Sandberg (Application Pending, The Last Smoker in America), WONDERFUL is written by playwrights Craig Ricks and John Olson.

Artistic Director of Theatre Royal Plymouth Simon Stokes today announces the full cast for the world premiere of April de Angelis' After Electra. Samuel West directs Michael Begley (Roy), Rachel Bell (Sheila), Marty Cruickshank (Virgie), Kate Fahy (Sonia), Neil McCaul (Tom), Veronica Roberts (Haydn), James Wallace (Orin) and Eleanor Wyld (Miranda). The production opens on 16 March at The Drum, Theatre Royal Plymouth, with previews from 12 March, and runs until 28 March, before transferring to the Tricycle Theatre from 7 April to 2 May.

Hampstead Theatre's critically acclaimed production Di and Viv and Rose opens at the Vaudeville Theatre tonight 29 January 2015. Anna Mackmin returns to direct Amelia Bullmore's funny and insightful comedy about female friendship. John Goodman and Tom Sturridge will join Damian Lewis in the major new revival of David Mamet's gripping 1975 playAmerican Buffalo. Directed by Daniel Evans, American Buffalo will play at Wyndham's Theatre for a strictly limited run from16 April - 27 June 2015.

The full cast has been announced for the world stage premiere of John Boyne's highly acclaimed and best-selling international novel The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas which opens at Chichester Festival Theatre on 19 February, from where it will tour England until 27 June. The book, which is a KS3 level school text for 11 - 14 year olds, has been adapted for the stage by Angus Jackson. The press night is Thursday 26 February at 7 pm.
