MAW will present this Tennessee Williams Pulitzer Prize winning classic, directed by Melissa Lourie and starring Steve Small as Big Daddy, and from New York City introducing Katie Hartke as Maggie and Charlie Murphy as Brick.

In this classic American play, Brick and Maggie are at the center of a family struggling to come to grips with their secrets, desires, and lies, as they gather to celebrate Big Daddy's 65th Birthday. When it is revealed that Big Daddy is dying of cancer, the sins of the past and desperate hopes for future control of his vast fortune turn family members against one another.

In the winter and spring of 2013, Town Hall Theater and Middlebury Actors Workshop (MAW) teamed up to develop a short original Shakespeare show called 'Straight Up Shakespeare - The Things We Do For Love' as part of its educational outreach program.
