The Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF) will host four Shakespeare on the Road travelers July 28-August 1, 2014, as part of the group's 60-day, 10,000-mile road trip to 14 Shakespeare festivals in the U.S. and Canada to celebrate the 450th anniversary of Shakespeare's birth. During their Ashland visit, Shakespeare on the Road members will get an in-depth look at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, both on stage and behind the scenes.

Freestyle Releasing and Freestyle Digital Media (FDM) announced today that they have acquired theatrical and all DVD/VOD rights to 108 STITCHES, the baseball comedy from writer/director David Rountree and co-writer Jake Katofsky. The film features Josh Blue ('Last Comic Standing' winner), Dat Phan ('Last Comic Standing' winner), Erin Cahill (POWER RANGERS), Larry Thomas ('Seinfeld's' Soup Nazi) and Bruce Davison (X-MEN), with a special appearance by baseball legend Roger Clemens. 108 STITCHES was co-written and produced by Jake Katofsky, with producers that also include Jeff Katofsky and J.P. Pierce. The film is slated for a theatrical and VOD release on September 12th, 2014. Check out the trailer below!
Actor and Director Mark Webber Confirmed as Speaker in 2014 FEST

You probably know him as the lead singer of the fictional punk band 'Sex Bob-Omb' in Edgar Wright's 'Scott Pilgrim vs. The World' where Mark was one of the main actors of the film but Mark Webber is a young actor and director with a 15 year old carreer.

The film adaptation of the Tony Award-winning musical JERSEY BOYS will hit theaters on June 20th. Directed by Clint Eastwood, JERSEY BOYS, written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, features the music and lyrics of Bob Gaudio & Bob Crewe. Just yesterday, the Angelo Galasso House at The Plaza (768 Fifth Avenue) hosted a special New York City screening of the new film, and BroadwayWorld was there for the big event. In 1994, Bette Midler returned to New York after nearly 20 years in Los Angeles, and started the New York Restoration Project, a non-profit organization devoted to bringing abandoned and neglected parks, gardens, and open spaces in all five boroughs back to life. NYRP includes the beautiful New Leaf Cafe in Fort Tryon Park as part of its success, and is committed to helping restore parks and gardens devastated by Hurricane Sandy.
