Rock 'n' Roll legend EDDIE BRIGATI will begin a monthly residency with EDDIE BRIGATI: AFTER THE RASCALS at the Cutting Room, 44 East 32 Street, New York City. Created and directed by the legendary STEVEN VAN ZANDT, Brigati's shows are 7:30 PM Thursday, March 1; Thursday, April 5 and Wednesday, May 2. Bruce Springsteen made his Broadway with Springsteen on Broadway, a solo show at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street). Springsteen on Broadway opened officially last night, Thursday, October 12. Springsteen will perform five shows a week through February 3, 2018. Just last night, A Bronx Tale opened at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48thStreet). The new musical, featuring a book by Academy Award nominee Chazz Palminteri, music by Oscar, Grammy, and Tony Award winner Alan Menken, and lyrics by Grammy Award winner and Oscar and Tony Award nominee Glenn Slater, co-directed by two-time Oscar winner Robert De Niro and four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks, with choreography by Tony nominee Sergio Trujillo, began performances on Thursday, November 3. The Count Basie Theatre has extended its entry deadline and announced its panel of esteemed judges for PROJECT FX, its statewide student film festival presented by Bank Of America and Sony Pictures Classics.

Seven stars of HBO's hit series, The Sopranos, will join with legends of rock to present a fundraising evening of theater and music in honor of actor and firefighter Jack Ferry, a beloved member of the Renegade company, who died recently at age 45. All proceeds from the event will go to the John Augustus Ferry College Fund, named for his young son. The event takes place at The Cutting Room, 44 E 32nd St, on Monday, November 2nd at 7pm.

 Merged Work Productions (Lead Producers) and Jack Thomas (Executive Producer) announced today that music-world icons and television stars Steven Van Zandt and Paul Shaffer, along with Maureen Van Zandt and Joe Grano (Jersey Boys), have joined the Broadway-bound musical Piece of My Heart: The Bert Berns Story as lead producers.  It was also announced that Mr. Van Zandt will serve as the show's musical director.  Piece of My Heart will open on Broadway in 2016. 

On Monday, March 2nd, pop art icon Peter Max showcased a series of 27 portraits of Frank Sinatra throughout his esteemed 50-year career. The exhibition was attended by Nancy Sinatra, and her daughter Amanda Erlinger and kicked-off the yearlong celebrations being held around the world for Frank Sinatra's Centennial.
