OFFICIAL: The Rascals Bringing ONCE UPON A DREAM Back to Broadway; Runs 12/16-1/5

Producers Steven Van Zandt and Maureen Van Zandt, Marc Brickman and Base Entertainment just announced the Broadway return of the critically acclaimed show ONCE UPON A DREAM STARRING THE RASCALS. Back by popular demand, this spectacular live show will light up the Great White Way with a highly anticipated limited engagement from December 16 through January 5 at the Marquis Theatre. Tickets for this special holiday run can be purchased at the Marquis Theatre Box Office, online at Ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-877-250-2929. Groups of 10 or more should call 1-800-714-8452.

Following its sold-out run at the Richard Rodgers Theater this past spring in New York City, ONCE UPON A DREAM STARRING THE RASCALS has become a nationwide phenomenon and is currently touring to packed-house crowds across North America. USA Todaygave the show 3 (out of four) stars, the New York Post proclaimed "this is a show you can't miss," and the Huffington Post promised "you will be blown away." Following one of the first Broadway dates, Entertainment Weekly described the experience thusly: "They got three standing ovations and a few brave souls danced in the aisles. One woman stood up in her seat, waving her arms to the music, even though one of them was in a sling around her neck. These people had been waiting 40 long years to see the Rascals - and you could tell."

A hybrid of a rock 'n' roll concert and a Broadway show, ONCE UPON A DREAM STARRING THE RASCALS marks the first time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees The Rascals, America's classic blue-eyed soul band, have played together since 1970. Original band members Eddie Brigati (vocals), Felix Cavaliere (keyboard & vocals), Gene Cornish (guitar), and Dino Danelli (drums) will present a complete concert performance including songs that captured the spirit of America in the 1960's, such as their smash hits "Good Lovin'," "Lonely Too Long," "It's a Beautiful Morning," "How Can I Be Sure" and "Groovin'." The production will also feature the history of the iconic group told through archival footage, narration, and dramatic film segments viewed on the latest LED screen technology.

ONCE UPON A DREAM STARRING THE RASCALS premiered on Broadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre to critical acclaim last spring selling out 15 performances. The show is directed by Steven Van Zandt and Marc Brickman, with music by Felix Cavaliere and Eddie Brigati. ONCE UPON A DREAM STARRING THE RASCALS has stage, video and lighting design by Brickman and has music production written by legendary guitarist Van Zandt.
