Lyric Opera of Chicago will soon present Rodgers and Hammerstein's Carousel, starring Steven Pasquale as carousel barker Billy Bigelow, Laura Osnes as his true love, millworker Julie Jordan, Jenn Gambatese as Carrie Pipperidge, Denyce Graves as Nettie Fowler, Matthew Hydzik as Enoch Snow, Tony Award winner Jarrod Emick as Jigger Craigin, two-time Tony Award nominee Charlotte d'Amboise as Mrs. Mullin, and two-time Tony Award nominee Tony Roberts as the Starkeeper. Carousel will run April 10 to May 3 at the Civic Opera House (opening night April 11). Joe Carroll (Cinderella, Once), Eric LaJuan Summers (Motown The Musical), Genson Blimline (Rock Of Ages), and Larry Owens (Fat Camp) join Rebecca Naomi Jones (Big Love, American Idiot), Alysha Umphress (On the Town, American Idiot), Kacie Sheik (Hair), Theo Stockman (Hair, American Idiot), Matthew Hydzik (Side Show, West Side Story), Ben Roseberry (The Lion King), Sara Kapner (Bare), and Kasie Gasparini (Mamma Mia), along with show creators Zac Lasher (U-Melt, Bebe Buell Band, Maggie Rose), Jay Leibowitz (The Acting Company, Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey), and their band featuring Kevin Griffin and Rob Salzer of U-Melt, Dan McNaney and Sparkie Sandler. Matthew Hydzik will portray Enoch Snow alongside Tony Award winner Jarrod Emick as Jigger Craigin, two-time Tony Award nominee Charlotte d'Amboise as Mrs. Mullin, and two-time Tony Award nominee Tony Roberts as the Starkeeper. Carousel will run April 10 to May 3 at the Civic Opera House (opening night April 11).

54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents The Cast of SIDE SHOW Reunites in "ADDED ATTRACTIONS" on Monday, March 9. Actors and musicians from the recent Broadway revival of SIDE SHOW come back together to perform some favorites from the show, songs cut or never used and new arrangements of some familiar numbers.

The all-new Broadway cast recording of Side Show is on its way! The album will be released by Broadway Records on February 17, and will be available from Amazon and iTunes on February 24. Boasting Side Show's legendary and beloved score, which now includes new music, and featuring the acclaimed vocal performances of the Broadway cast, the new original Broadway cast recording of Side Show is produced by six-time Grammy Award winning producer Frank Filipetti. Megan McGinnis, standby for Side Show's twins on Broadway, appeared as 'Violet' in today's (December 3) matinee performance, in place of Erin Davie. Davie is, however, performing in this evening's show.
