Glynis Henderson Productions and Martian Entertainment have announced that A CLOCKWORK ORANGE will play the final performance of its limited New York Premiere engagement at New World Stages on Saturday, December 2, 2017. Based on Anthony Burgess'1962 literary masterpiece, director Alexandra Spencer-Jones's electrifying stage production began performances in NYC on September 2, 2017, following a sold-out engagement at London's Park Theatre and tours to Australia, Singapore and Norway. At the conclusion of its twelve-week New York run, the play will have had 107 performances at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street).

Walkabout Theater Company is pleased to celebrate summer with TALL GIRL AND THE LIGHTNING PARADE, an interactive, outdoor parade and performance spectacle featuring over 30 multi-disciplinary artists - performed in both Spanish and English and perfect for the entire family. Five free performances will be presented August 16, August 23-24 and August 26-27, 2016 at unique outdoor venues across the City, primarily through the Chicago Park District's 'Night Out in the Parks' series. Commissioned text by Emma Stanton is fused with interwoven narratives of movement, music, group choreography and funerary rites that investigate the fatigue of hope in the face of profound grief. Directed by Co-Artistic Director Kendra Miller with movement by Co-Artistic Director Thom Pasculli, THE CURE will play June 1 - 18, 2016 at The Sidney R. Yates Gallery at the Chicago Cultural Center, 78 E. Washington St. in Chicago. All performances are free to the public. Advance reservations can be made at walkabouttheater.org/the-cure. This spring, The Hypocrites are bringing the award-winning, Off-Broadway musical hit ADDING MACHINE: A Musical back to Chicago where it first premiered. Directed by Geoff Button, with music direction by Matt Deitchman and choreography by Katie Spelman, this heartbreaking musical adaptation of Elmer Rice's play The Adding Machine features music by Joshua Schmidt and book and lyrics by Jason Loewith and Schmidt. ADDING MACHINE: A Musical will play now through May 15, 2016 at The Den Theatre's Heath Main Stage, 1329 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood. No one is born a performer but Matthew Gregory, founder of KidsFest, made it a point to start very early. Playing as Young Scrooge's girlfriend at age eight (Yes, you heard it right: girlfriend of the Young Scrooge in a production of “A Christmas Carol”) and as a chorister at York Minster in the United Kingdom, Matthew eventually placed himself permanently in the world of performing arts when he became the executive producer of ABA Productions, based in Hong Kong.
