The Irish Repertory Theatre announces a two-week extension of GIBRALTAR-Patrick Fitzgerald's acclaimed two-character adaptation of James Joyce's 'Ulysses'-with Off-Broadway performances now set to run through July 14 in the company's W. Scott McLucas Studio Theatre (132 West 22nd Street). Terry Kinney directs.

The New Group launches its 2013-2014 Off-Broadway season with the New York premiere of Pulitzer Prize winner Beth Henley's The Jacksonian, arriving in Fall 2013. Directed by Tony Award winner Robert Falls, this production features Ed Harris, Glenne Headly, Amy Madigan and Bill Pullman. The Jacksonian was first produced at the Geffen Playhouse in 2012. In Winter 2014, as the second production in the company's season, The New Group delivers the world premiere of Thomas Bradshaw's Intimacy, directed by Scott Elliott. The third production of The New Group's upcoming season is to be announced.

STAGES ST. LOUIS is thrilled to announce new staff appointments to STAGES' Turley Performing Arts Academy. Broadway Veteran, Vince Pesce will assume the position of Director of Education at STAGES Kent Center for Theatre Arts, the new state-of-the-art facility, effective immediately. Pesce replaces longtime Education Director Rob Grumich, who will remain during the transition through July. Also, Tali Allen Liddell will become the Manager of Community Programs and Partnerships.

Shout! Broadway will release the new 2012 Cast Recording for ANNIE CD on Tuesday, June 18. To celebrate the release of the CD cast members Jane Lynch, Anthony Warlow, Lilla Crawford, Brynn O'Malley, Clarke Thorell, creators Charles Strouse, Martin Charnin and Tom Meehan and more will sign copies of the album at Barnes & Noble (160 East 54th Street at 3rd Avenue) beginning promptly at 12:30 p.m. and ending at 1:45 p.m.

TheatreWorks, the nationally acclaimed theatre of Silicon Valley, will stage its annual TheatreWorks Honors gala tonight, June 15, shining the spotlight on a Silicon Valley leader and a renowned theatre artist, both of whom have dedicated their lives to bringing forth vision, innovation, and creativity. The evening's honorees are Chairman of Fenwick & West law firm Gordon Davidson and Tony Award-winning Broadway playwright and composer Joe DiPietro (Memphis, Nice Work If You Can Get It).

The producers of the Tony Award-winning musical comedy Nice Work If You Can Get It have announced that the Broadway production will play its final performance today, June 15, 2013 after 27 previews and 478 regular performances at the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street). The production began performances on March 29, 2012 and opened on Apr 24, 2012. A national tour will be launched in the 2014-2015 season.

On Thursday, June 13, Inside Broadway partnered with Nice Work if You Can Get It at Broadway's Imperial Theatre, where thousands of NYC public school students visited for two exclusive 'Creating the Magic' events. Funnyman Mel Brooks revealed in a recent interview that he still has 'lots of plans for stage shows' including the long-rumored musical adaptation of 'Blazing Saddles.' Additionally, Brooks is currently in talks to bring Young Frankenstein, which opened on Broadway in 2007, to the West End.

The forthcoming Broadway production REAR WINDOW has found its creative team in playwright Keith Reddin(Too Much Memory, Life and Limb) and director Terry Kinney (reasons to be pretty, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest). NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT, the Tony Award-winning musical comedy starring two-time Tony Award-winner Matthew Broderick and Tony Award nominee Jessie Mueller, is now in its final two weeks of performances on Broadway. The final performance will be Saturday, June 15. NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT features music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin and a book by two-time Tony Award-winner Joe DiPietro, and is directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award-winner Kathleen Marshall.
