BLANK! THE MUSICAL is created by Michael Girts, T.J. Shanoff (director) and Mike Descoteaux (musical director) and executive produced by Matt Britten. The show will begin performances at NYC's New World Stages on November 1, celebrating its opening night on Monday, November 17 and will run through December 14, 2014. BLANK! THE MUSICAL has partnered with app designer by Livecube, improv partners Uprights Citizens Brigade and ImprovBoston and is being General Managed by Eva Price at Maximum Entertainment Productions.

Sue Gillespie Booton of Omaha's Rose Theater was one of eight outstanding educators from schools and performing arts centers around the country selected to work one-on-one with Broadway greats at the 5th Annual FREDDIE G BROADWAY EXPERIENCE which just wrapped in New York City. The event was underwritten by Myrna and Freddie ('G') Gershon, Chairman and CEO of leading theatrical licensor Music Theatre International (MTI).

Directed and choreographed by Stephen Nachamie(director of NYMF's award-winning 2012 production of Foreverman), MR. CONFIDENTIAL features book and lyrics bySamuel Bernstein (Bobbie's Girl) and music by David Snyder. The Musical Parody at The Elektra Theatre (300 W. 43rd Street) has announced that beginning July 22nd, Jack Boice (Phantom of the Opera International Tour), Melanie Brook (Tony and Tina's Wedding), Alexis Field (Angelina Ballerina The Musical) and Zach Kononov (Spring Awakening) will join the cast replacing Chris Grace, Ashley Ward, Kaitlyn Frotton and David Andino respectively. Directed by Al Samuels and Rob Lindley, 50 Shades! The Musical Parody is produced by Emily Dorezas, Al Samuels, Andrew Asnes, Rob Kolson, Brett McDonald and 50 Shades Tour LLC.

Eight outstanding educators from schools and performing arts centers around the country will work one-on-one with Broadway greats at the 5th Annual FREDDIE G BROADWAY EXPERIENCE July 9th - 12th. The event has once again been underwritten by Myrna and Freddie ('G') Gershon, Chairman and CEO of leading theatrical licensor Music Theatre International (MTI). The weekend honors instructors and teachers who are working to make a difference for their students and communities through the process of staging musical theatre productions in their schools and educational theatre groups. In addition to the New York experience, each of the teachers' schools receives $5,000 from Freddie and Myrna to enhance their arts program.

The cast of Gerard Alessandrini's FORBIDDEN BROADWAY COMES OUT SWINGING! records the original cast CD for DRG Records today at Avatar Studios. Produced by Hugh Fordin, the release date is soon to be announced. This CD marks Forbidden Broadway's 12th cast recording with DRG Records. Featured on the original cast recording are cast members Carter Calvert, Scott Richard Foster, Mia Gentile and Marcus Stevens, with David Caldwell on piano.
