In one month, Blue Man Group will host a sensory-friendly show, suitable for children with autism spectrum disorders, supporting Autism Speaks on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. at Universal Orlando Resort.

NETworks Presentations, LLC and Blue Man Productions, in partnership with Magic Dreams Productions, present the first-ever theatrical tour of Blue Man Group in Latin America. The exciting performance will travel through South America from June 20 to October, 2015.

Blue Man Group continues to thrive now more than 20 years later. If you haven't seen the show, and I don't say this often, I will guarantee you'll have an incredible time.

I've seen BLUE MAN GROUP live quite a few times, and on this particular occasion I brought along my son for his second go around with the show. What's appealing to me is that there's still a freshness about their performances, even if a lot of the bits are familiar, such as: the camera tour down an audience member's throat, the snarky message board, the various rock poses, etc. There's certainly no denying the fact that they continually draw large, enthusiastic crowds. The current production that played the Peabody Opera House (April 25-27) provided a cool evening's entertainment, for fans and newbies alike.

The BLUE MAN GROUP national tour, currently playing at Kingsbury Hall, melds spectacle and comedy into an evening that stimulates and satisfies the senses. The "Blue Men" are usually men of few (or more accurately, no) words, but I got one of them, Russell Rinker, a veteran Blue Man, to speak long enough to tell me a little about himself, this exciting new production and why audiences of all ages are in for a real treat.

While I've seen BLUE MAN GROUP live and on DVD, they're always tweaking their act so that it's a new experience each time you see them perform. Oh, they're smart enough to keep some of the old gags so that they remain familiar (the camera tour down an audience member's throat, the snarky message board, the interesting instruments),but there's enough current material added so that the group is consistently engaging no matter when you see them. The current production playing the Fox Theatre (through December 2, 2012) is a great evening's entertainment, and seeing it with my seven year old son in tow made it even more special.
