Coffey as 'Mysterious Man,' Andy Grotelueschen as 'Milky White, Florinda & Rapunzel's Prince,'Liz Hayes as 'Cinderella's Stepmother & Jack's Mother,' Claire Karpen as 'Cinderella & Granny,'Jennifer Mudge as Witch,' Patrick Mulryan as 'Jack & Steward,' Ben Steinfeld as 'Baker' and Emily Young as 'Little Red Ridinghood & Rapunzel.' The 26th Annual Festival of New Musicals, presented by the National Alliance For Musical Theatre (NAMT), kicked off with THE 46TH MINUTE, a concert hosted by Lindsay Mendez and featuring performances by Heidi Blickenstaff, Doreen Montalvo, Mamie Parris, Bryce Ryness, and more. Musical presentations started October 23 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street) and included Beautiful Poison, Cubamor, Great Wall, How To Break, Mary Marie, The Noteworthy Life of Howard Barnes, String and Stu For Silverton. The Old Globe today announced additional performances for the second production of the 2014 Summer Season, Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical Into the Woods, which made its World Premiere at The Old Globe in 1986. The production is an inventive reimagining by Fiasco Theater, directed by Noah Brody and Ben Steinfeld, in a production that originated at McCarter Theatre Center. By popular demand, it will now play through Sunday, August 17. Tickets for the extension will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, July 29 at noon.
