Beginning next Wednesday, July 18th, Randy Harrison will assume the role of Dr. Hannibal Lecter's nemesis, Dr. Chilton, in Off-Broadway's smash hit SILENCE! The Musical. July 18th also marks the first performance of SILENCE! The Musical at the brand new Elektra Theatre in Times Square, located at 673 Eighth Avenue (at 42nd St.)
Channing Tatum Says 'Yes' to MAGIC MIKE Sequel

During a recent Twitter question-and-answer session for Glamour magazine, actor Channing Tatum responded to the question of a possible sequel to the hit film MAGIC MIKE by commenting, 'Yes, yes and yes! We're working on the concept now. We want to flip the script and make it bigger.'

The Musical, today announced that the hit musical is set to move to the brand new Elektra Theatre in the heart of Times Square, with performances beginning next Wednesday, July 18th. The Elektra Theatre has been specially constructed to be the new home of SILENCE! The Musical. Today, USA Network launches Neal's Stash, a national crowd-sourcing treasure hunt inviting WHITE COLLAR fans to help track down an old score by using multiple social channels, games, and video diaries featuring show characters. This interactive experience is the final segment of a multi-phased WHITE COLLAR fan engagement, presented by Ford, building on Mozzie's Mission and The Stash Hunters. The 10-week experience, with 50 custom videos, was developed in conjunction with the show's creative team including series creator and executive producer Jeff Eastin. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Reid Carolin, screenwriter for the upcoming film MAGIC MIKE, is currently working on a 'spin-off' of the movie, which he plans to bring to Broadway as a new musical. Deadline.com has since noted that the musical is gunning for the Great White Way in the summer of 2013. The show will reportedly be produced by Tatum alongside Carolin under the banner of their production company, Iron Horse Entertainment, alongside the film's director Steven Soderbergh, Gregory Jacobs, and Nick Wechsler. SILENCE! The Musical is celebrating Gay Pride weekend with a special added matinee performance today, June 23 at 3 PM at PS122. The cast of the smash hit show is scheduled to appear in Sunday's Pride March, which begins at noon at 36th St. & Fifth Ave. and ends at Christopher & Greenwich Streets. The cast will be bringing along fun surprise goodies to hand out to all their fans in the crowd.

Theatre Works (LATW) has recorded "8," a dramatization of the legal fight against California's Proposition 8 written by Academy Award-winning screenwriter and American Foundation for Equal Rights (AFER) founding board member Dustin Lance Black, for release on audiobook and for broadcast on LATW's nationally syndicated radio theater series. Directed by Rob Reiner and featuring an all-star cast that includes Kevin Bacon, George Clooney, Jamie Lee Curtis, Christine Lahti, Jane Lynch, Brad Pitt, Martin Sheen and John C. Reilly, "8" will air on public radio stations across the U.S. this week, beginning June 9.
