The Players Club of Swarthmore, with license from the American Foundation for Equal Rights (AFER) and Broadway Impact, is proud to announce a reading of "8," a play chronicling the historic trial in the federal constitutional challenge to California's Proposition 8, written by Academy Award-winning screenwriter and AFER Founding Board Member Dustin Lance Black, to be presented twice, on January 4th and 5th.

The Jewish Museum and the Film Society of Lincoln Center will present the 22nd annual New York Jewish Film Festival at the Film Society's Walter Reade Theater, Jan. 9-24, 2013. The festival's 45 features and shorts from 9 countries - 23 screening in their world, U.S. or New York premieres - provide a diverse global perspective on the Jewish experience. Many film screenings will be followed by filmmakers and special guests in onstage discussions.

Violinist and artistic director Gil Morgenstern's acclaimed Reflections Series continues the 2012-2013 season tonight, Monday, November 19 at 7:30pm with Nacht und Traume, "Night and Dreams." Celebrating five years of innovative programming in its intimate home at WMP Concert Hall (31 East 28th Street, NYC), Morgenstern will be joined by Tony Award Winner Maryann Plunkett and pianist Donald Berman.
