The producers of In Focus with Martin Sheen have announced an upcoming series of reports highlighting the positive impacts that community groups are having in towns and cities around the country.

In Focus with Martin Sheen is an independently produced television program airing in markets around the country on public television. The TV show is hosted by the legendary Martin Sheen, who has appeared in more than 60 feature films in his illustrious career. Around the country, volunteers are tackling problems like illiteracy, homelessness, hunger, and the decay of our historic treasures through their time and hard work. In Focus Martin Sheen PBS is talking to leaders in community groups around the country to see how their work is making a positive impact in America. In many cases, these volunteer groups are working in unique partnerships with government organizations to help build better communities. These groups are bringing people the gift of reading and language skills, job training and housing, and the educational benefits of our country’s rich heritage back into our daily lives.

The producers of In Focus with Martin Sheen are expecting to have the report ready for broadcast in the coming months.
