ANNIE, the new production of the classic Tony Award-winning musical, playing at the Palace Theatre (Broadway at 47th Street), just welcomed Ron Raines to the cast as Daddy Warbucks, and you can get a first look at him in action below!

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Broadway and big screen star Bobby Cannavale talked about working with Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx on Will Gluck's ANNIE movie remake, in which he plays an advisor to Daddy Warbucks (Foxx) -- a part that will be unfamiliar to fans of the stage musical or the 1982 film.

The ASCAP Foundation just honored Tony Award-winning lyricist and director of Annie Martin Charnin with the first-ever ASCAP Foundation George M. The 2013 theatre season brought some truly extraordinary productions, including Annie, which is still playing at the Palace Theatre. The musical earned one Tony nomination.

ANNIE won the New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Musical, seven Drama Desk Awards including Best Musical, the Grammy for Best Cast Show Album and seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Book (Thomas Meehan) and Best Score (Charles Strouse, Martin Charnin). The show was one of the biggest Broadway musical hits of the 1970s, running for almost six years and playing 2,377 performances.
