REAson d'etre dance productions proudly presents the world premiere of Men's Circle, a new dance-theatre work that delves into the stories of men in a therapy group.

On November 12, 2017, the Auditorium Theatre, The Theatre for the People, commemorates the 50th anniversary of its grand re-opening with A Golden Celebration of Dance, a one-night-only mixed repertory program featuring dancers from the world's premier dance companies: Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, American Ballet Theatre, Dutch National Ballet, Eifman Ballet of St. Petersburg, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, The Joffrey Ballet, MOMIX, New York City Ballet, Parsons Dance, The Suzanne Farrell Ballet, and The Washington Ballet. In addition, the evening will feature special performances by finalists from the Youth America Grand Prix, the next generation of great dancers.

SITI Company, the internationally acclaimed ensemble theater, co-founded by famed American director Anne Bogart, showcases directed by SITI Co-Artistic Director Leon Ingulsrud.

This fall, Ailey announces exciting highlights and achievements: a new wing will allow for more classes for students of The Ailey School and Ailey Extension at New York's largest building dedicated to dance; Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater welcomes a world premiere by Company star Jamar Roberts for the upcoming season; Ailey luminaries receive major honors; and the organization's Destination Dance initiative continues with Ailey II performances in Atlanta during an extensive tour.

Dito van Reigersberg, best known for his work with Pig Iron Theatre Company and as his alter-ego, cabaret queen Martha Graham Cracker, is set to star in Jonathan Tolins' one-man comedy Buyer & Cellar. van Reigersberg replaces previously announced John Jarboe after Jarboe's departure to join Arden Theatre Company's production of Kander & Ebb's Cabaret.

FORM Dance Projects and Riverside Theatres will present an exciting triple bill of contemporary dance performances by young artists in Common Anomalies from 2nd to 4th November.

Winifred Haun & Dancers will present their highly acclaimed new work, Trashed, as part of Links Hall's new Trade Routes: a Festival of Artistic Exchange, on November 30 and December 2.

The American Dance Festival (ADF) will present the work of Claire Porter & Sara Juli (October 10-11, 7:30pm), Yossi Berg & Oded Graf Dance Theatre (October 13-14, 7:30pm), and dendy/donovan projects (May 10-12, 7:30pm) at New York Live Arts.

Eryc Taylor Dance (ETD) will return to Martha Graham Studio Theater, 55 Bethune Street, for the company's 2017 NYC season, October 13-15.

The theater veteran goes back onstage as a morally conflicted tailor in this play, based loosely on the real-life disappearance of a 1710 Stradivarius.

Rarely has the lowly and much-maligned post-show talkback received as much attention as it has since it was revealed that David Mamet was prohibiting them during productions of his plays. Inspired by Mr. Mamet's decision while honoring his prohibition, in this series of public discussions critic and journalist Jeremy M. Barker and director Patrice Miller bring together diverse practitioners to explore issues raised by Mr. Mamet's long career through their own experiences. The guests for this second session in the series, on Sunday, Oct. 15, are writer Leonard Jacobs (The Clyde Fitch Report), writer Colleen Werthman and playwright Amina Henry. Each will explore artists' powers, limitations, and challenges in defining the experience of their works.

Mordance, in its mission to create modern, relevant movement that maintains the integrity of classical ballet, celebrates their fifth milestone year this 2017-2018 season. With a firm foothold in the New York dance community, the company will add three new world premieres to their repertory, continuing to shape the arc of female driven leadership and creation. With an evident mission to engage the community through the creation of new works, live performances and extensive outreach programs, Mordance at Five will offer audiences chances to help build upon the company's infrastructure through fundraising events and follow the trajectory of new works through in progress showings and residencies, culminating in an anniversary performance at Aaron Davis Hall this Spring (April 27-28).

The Boston Modern Orchestra Project (BMOP), the nation's premier orchestra dedicated exclusively to commissioning, performing, and recording new orchestral music, kick-starts its 22nd season with an appreciative salute to multi-generational composers and artists who have led and continue to be leading the contemporary music vanguard. Featuring two resolute proponents of new music, guest soloists Conor Hanick (piano) and Matt Haimovitz (cello), the program includes the regional premiere of Matthew Aucoin's first concerto, as well as pieces by William Schuman, David Sanford, and John Harbison.

Diana Vishneva's CONTEXT Festival will celebrate contemporary choreography in Moscow from November 12 15 and in Saint Petersburg November 16 - 19. The festival features a wide range of choreographers, bringing international talents to share the stage with domestic artists. In its fifth year CONTEXT has grown from a three-day festival to an entire week dedicated to dance and movement, becoming a significant platform for gifted up-and-coming choreographers and dancers.

Multi-award-winning and internationally recognised choreographer Yasmeen Godder will premiere her new work Face In this Autumn, commissioned by Candoco Dance Company and performed by their company of disabled and non-disabled dancers. Face In is the final commission from Stine Nilsen and Pedro Machado before they step down as Artistic Co-Directors of Candoco, as announced in January.

Linda Shelton, Executive Director of The Joyce Theater, will welcome back onto its stage Twyla Tharp Dance, under the artistic direction of legendary award-winning choreographer Twyla Tharp, for a special three-week engagement, from September 19 - October 8.

Cal State Fullerton's 2017-2018 season opens with Frankenstein based on the novel by Mary Shelley, adapted by Bruce Goodrich and directed by CSUF Professor Maria Cominis, which runs September 29-October 15, 2017 in the Young Theatre on campus. An electrifying new version of Frankenstein will keep audiences mesmerized by the sheer power of Mary Shelley's 19th century classic.

The Martha Graham Dance Company announces LamVar10: A Festival for New Work, a multiweek program celebrating the tenth anniversary of the Lamentation Variations, short commissioned works inspired by Martha Graham's iconic solo Lamentation.
