Bostonians will have another reason to welcome autumn along the Charles River when the Celebrity Series of Boston presents Jazz Along the Charles: A Walkable Concert. After receiving close to 100 applications, a selection committee comprised of educators, administrators and performers from Boston's thriving jazz scene has chosen 25 ensembles to perform at a series of connected, walkable locations along the Charles River Esplanade, interpreting the same curated list of Boston-related tunes in one collective free concert.

A classic from Spanish choreographer Nacho Duato alongside world premieres by Danielle Rowe and James Sofranko highlight SFDanceworks' third season June 8 - 10. Rounding out the program is a duet by Penny Saunders, a recent recipient of the Princess Grace award for choreography. SFDanceworks' Season Three takes place at the Cowell Theater at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. Graham 2 announces its 2018 New York season featuring works by Martha Graham, Sophie Maslow, Bertram Ross, and Virginie Mecene. Performances are June 7-10 (Today through Saturday at 7pm, and Sunday at 3pm), at the Martha Graham Studio Theater, 55 Bethune Street, 11th floor, in Manhattan.

Cennarium, the largest subscription streaming service for theatrical productions, now has 16 theatrical performances available for streaming on Amazon, with more to come. The productions offered will be a variety of genres including musicals, drama, opera, ballet and dance, magic and comedies from countries around the world.

The American Dance Festival (ADF) kicks off its 85th anniversary season on Thursday, June 14 at 7:00pm at Reynolds Industries Theater with the return of Dayton Contemporary Dance Company (DCDC) performing classic repertoire and a new ADF-commissioned piece by Abby Zbikowski.

"Country crooners, '80s hitmakers and man's best friend are among the headlining talent Poway OnStage have lined-up for their 2018/19 Professional Performance Series. The American Dance Festival (ADF) will convene a panel titled “Why Do They Fall Down? The Story of Modern Dance in China” to celebrate 30 years of modern dance in China. Panelists include Director Emeritus of ADF Charles L. Reinhart, Yang Meiqi, the founder and former director of the first modern dance company in China, China's foremost dance expert Ou Jian-Ping, Ralph Samuelson, former director of the Asian Cultural Council, Michelle Vosper, former director of the Asian Cultural Council in Hong Kong, internationally celebrated choreographer Shen Wei, and former José Limón Company dancer Sarah Stackhouse.

Eryc Taylor Dance (ETD) will join Bryant Park's Contemporary Dance Program with three of their most popular repertory works on Friday, June 22, beginning at 6:45pm. Bryant Park is located behind the New York Public Library in Midtown Manhattan, between 40th and 42nd Streets & Fifth and Sixth Avenues. The annual Bryant Park dance series will feature acclaimed contemporary dance choreographers on five back-to-back summer Fridays in June and July; open to the public, there is no admission charge.

The LaMaMa Moves! Dance Festival presents the unique artist ANABELLA LENZU as she declares 'No More Beautiful Dances,' a dance/theater solo in which the spoken word, drawings, photographs, and video projections merge to offer a very personal view of femininity and what it means to be a woman today.   Two performances, May 30 & 31, 7 PM, at LaMaMa's The Downstairs, 66 East 4th Street.

CHRISTIAN LAVERDE KÖNIG, former principal dancer of the Milwaukee Ballet, will teach a master class for the Commonwealth Ballet in Acton, Massachusetts on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 1-3 P.M.

The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Douglas Adams' much loved, absurdist and subversive satire, is presented in a vibrant, fast paced, gender-bending production directed by Madeleine Dahm, from Thursday, June 14 through Sunday, June 17, 2018, including a Science Fiction Costume Night on June 16, at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in the Lovelace Studio Theater. After its first appearance as a radio play originally produced by BBC 4 Radio in 1978, Adams' work quickly became a worldwide cult classic celebrated for its sharp wit and ironic style. Dahm's version at The Wallis integrates puppetry, stylized movement, miniature sets and live music to bring the timely political satire to life.  

Glitter in the Gutter is an intimate evening of bawdy dance-theater created and performed by Catherine Cabeen and Kristina Berger. Performances are Friday and Saturday, June 22 and 23, at 7pm, at Pangea, 178 Second Avenue (between 11th and 12th Streets), in Manhattan.

Dances for a Variable Population (DVP) will present three performances of Revival 2 - an outdoor public dance project that re-imagines the works of celebrated 20th century choreographers, taking place at iconic public spaces in New York City and featuring 50 non-professional senior dancers and seven legendary female dance artists.  

Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts announces a preview of its new 2018-19 season, featuring legends of world music, acclaimed dance companies, renowned classical and jazz musicians, returning favorites and more. Most performances will take place in the Center's 853-seat Virginia G. Piper Theater.

Real life sweethearts, KEIR DULLEA (2001: A Space Odyssey) and MIA DILLON (TONY award nominee, Crimes of the Heart) bring A. R. Gurney's Love Letters to life in this one of a kind performance. As 'Melissa' and 'Andy,' these two stunning artists bring complexity and humanity to Gurney's timeless play about love, friendship, loss, challenges and the art of letter writing. Underscoring their love for New York's theatre scene, Ms. Dillon and Mr. Dullea share this production as a benefit for the award winning Articulate Theatre Company.
